Laurie Forster has been a Wyoming Real Estate Broker since 1998 and a highly regarded Sales Associate since she began in 1995. She grew up in Saratoga and is always welcoming to give back to the area. In 2000, she received her GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations. She is one of only four agents in Carbon County with the CRS designation. In 2005, she received her WCR (Women’s Council of Realtors) designation and in 2007 received her RSC (Residential Sales Council) designation. Laurie was honored by her peers as Carbon County Realtor of the Year in 2003 and again in 2014. She has served on the Carbon County Board of Realtors Board of Directors (2001-2009); holding the office of President in 2003 & 2004, Treasurer in 1997 and Legislative Chair in 2000. She served as Budget Chair 2003-09 and previously in 2000 and was Chair of the WYPAC/RPAC (Wyoming Political Action Committee/Realtor Political Action Committee) in 2009-2010 & 2016-2017.
She has also served on many other committees throughout her years with the Carbon County Board of Realtors organization. Laurie has a lot of experience in all kinds of real estate transactions and shared that knowledge serving on the Town of Saratoga Planning & Zoning Committee from 2004-2011. Since 2008 she has served on the Carbon Power & Light Board of Directors and President of the Board since 2015. Marcy Cooley has been in the real estate profession since 1994 and a Wyoming Associate Broker since 2001. She has grown up in the area having graduated from Encampment and knows the people & community in the county. In 2018 she received the Wyoming Association Realtor of the Year award. Marcy has also been honored in 2000 & 2018 with the Carbon County Realtor of the Year by her peers. In 2001, she received her GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and in 2004 – 2018 she held her SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designations. In 2019, she was awarded the National Association of Realtors prestigious Omegu Rau Rho Medal.
Marcy has served on the Carbon County Board of Realtors Board of Directors 2001-2008 and again 2016-Current. She has served as President in 2000 & 2018, President Elect 2007-08 & 2017, Secretary 2016, and Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Chair 2007-08 & 2017. She also has served on multiple committees over the years with the Realtor organization including Events Committee Chair in 2010-2011 & 2017-2018 in addition to Chair of the RPAC (Realtor Political Action Committee) in 2012.
Marcy was also active in the Wyoming Association of Realtors serving as Vice President 2003-04, Association Operations Co-Chair 2000-2001, Association Operations Chair 2002-2003, Vice President of the RDS Board in 2001 and Southeast District Vice President 2001-2002. Leadership does not stop there she has also served on the National Association of Realtors Risk Management Committee in 2004. She gives back to her communities including Co-Chair of the Encampment All-School Reunion in 2010 and a Volunteer Fundraiser for the University of Wyoming Cowboy Joe Club since 2003. “Whether buying or selling I want to bring it all together for you”.
Reginald “Reg” Forster
Reginald “Reg” Forster received his real estate license in 2009. Partnering with the team at Town & Country, Reg is ready to assist you in all your real estate needs. Amanda Shahadey has been in the real estate profession since 2015 and a Wyoming Associate Broker since 2021. She graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 1999 and then attended St. Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in 2003. Her, along with her husband Matt and their kids moved to Saratoga in 2010 to be closer to Amanda’s family.
In 2019, she received the Carbon County Realtor of the Year award from her peers. Amanda is active in the Carbon County Board of Realtors Board of Directors 2017-Current. She was the 2019 President and served as President Elect and Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Chair (both in 2018) and Secretary in 2017. She also has served on multiple committees over the years with the Realtor organization including the Budget, Core Standards and Events Committee.
Amanda is active in the Wyoming Association of Realtors serving as Central District Vice President 2020-Current. She also gives back within her community including the Legacy Foundation Board (2014-2017) & Treasurer (2018-Current), Saratoga-Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce Board (2020-Current) & Platte Valley Community Center Fundraising Board (2019-Current). “I can list your property or guide you through your first or next purchaser”.
Shelby McGuire obtained her real estate license in 2019 and joined Town & Country Realty in March of 2020. She is a Saratoga native and was proud to return to the valley after graduating from the University of Wyoming in 2018 with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication.
In her free time, Shelby enjoys being up in the mountains with her dog and spending time with her family and close friends. She loves interacting with and meeting new people. Shelby is a member of the Carbon County Board of Realtors 2019-Current. “This valley has been and always will be my home. JoAnn Capellen JoAnn Capellen has been a Wyoming Real Estate Sales Associate since 2009 and joined Town & Country Realty as a full-time agent in 2021. She has made the Platte Valley home for over forty years where her and her husband raised their family. She knows the area and enjoys the many things the valley has to offer from the natural beauty to the amazing people.
JoAnn is a member of the Carbon County Board of Realtors (2009-Current). In her free time, she is active in her church and spending time with family & grandchildren. JoAnn is also a talented quilter and enjoys crafting & painting.

Mary Martin has been the Administrative Assistant since the beginning in 1997. She provides that excellent support that Town & Country is known for. She has been a staff member for real estate offices since the early 1990’s. Mary has lived in Encampment since 1980 and very service oriented where she spends her spare time volunteering with the local Grand Encampment Opera Company directing plays & serving on the Board of Directions since 1991 & President since 2010. She serves on the Board of Directors on the Platte Valley Art’s Council (2015-Current, Secretary 2016-Current). She served sixteen years on the Encampment Town Council from 1998 through 2014 and was imperative as Chairwoman of the Grand Encampment Opera House Committee in the organization & fundraising efforts to renovate the historical building (2008-2011).
Mary is also a life member and served on the Board of Directors of the Grand Encampment Museum (Secretary 2008-2009 & 2000-2003, President 2004-2005). Some other events & organizations that she has given her time include the Encampment All-School Reunion 2010, Wyoming Congressional Youth (2010 & 2005), Green Mountain Cabin Association (Secretary/Treasurer 1995-2005), the Encampment Centennial Committee (1995-1997) and can be seen and heard at a variety of Encampment School events.
Her honors include the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6125 Community Service Award (2008), Sierra Madre Winter Carnival Queen (1999), Xi Beta Delta Woman of the Year (2003), the Grand Encampment Museum Service Award (2005) & the Saratoga/Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce Chamber Pot Award (2006) for outstanding community service and “Doing It Right” honor (2013), one of the Valley Service Organization’s Woman of Distinction (2016) and named one of the “Women of Carbon County” by Rawlins Downtown Development Authority (2019). In 2017, Mary was nominated for the State of Wyoming Women of Influence Lifetime Achievement Award.
Finnley Beau Forster
Finnley Beau Forster is the official Greeter at Town & Country Realty. He was born on January 3, 2015 and came to be a staff member eight short weeks later. He has mostly learned his responsibilities and on most days meets visitors at the door but depending on the day the greetings might only be a stretch of the limbs or a roll over to get a tummy rubbed. Finnley is half Golden Retriever & half English Cream Retriever which is apparent with his light appearance. Stop by and meet Finnley, he will gladly take the attention as that is part of his duties after all.
