Amanda Shahadey
Amanda Shahadey began her real estate profession in 2015 and became the Town & Country Realty Broker/Owner in July of 2021. She was honored by her peers in 2019 and again in 2022 as the Carbon County REALTOR® of the Year. In 2022 the Wyoming REALTOR® organization honored her with the prestigious Wyoming Local REALTOR® of the Year award.
She graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 1999 and then attended St. Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana where she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in 2003. Her, along with her husband Matt and their kids moved to Saratoga in 2010 to be closer to Amanda’s family.
Amanda is active in the Carbon County Board of Realtors® Board of Directors 2017-Current. She was President in 2019, President Elect & the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Chair in 2018 and Secretary in 2017. She also has served on multiple committees over the years with the Realtor® organization. She is also serving on the higher Wyoming Realtor® level as Central District Vice President (2020-Current).
Amanda also gives back to her community volunteering on the Platte Valley Legacy Foundation (2014-2017 & 2018-Current), the Platte Valley Community Center Fundraising Committee (2019-Current) & the Saratoga-Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (2020-Current).

Shelby McGuire
Shelby McGuire obtained her real estate license in 2019 and then received her Wyoming real estate Brokers license in 2022. She joined Town & Country Realty in March of 2020. She is a Saratoga native and was proud to return to the valley after graduating from the University of Wyoming in 2018 with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication.
Shelby is an active member of the Carbon County Board of REALTORS® 2019-Current. She served as the Board of Directors Secretary (2022) and President Elect & Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Chair (2022-Current).
In her free time, Shelby enjoys being up in the mountains with her dog and spending time with her family and close friends. She loves interacting with and meeting new people. “This valley has been and always will be my home. I’m proud that I get to work here with the wonderful staff at Town & Country Realty”.

JoAnn Capellen
JoAnn Capellen JoAnn Capellen has been a Wyoming Real Estate Sales Associate since 2009 and joined Town & Country Realty as a full-time agent in 2021. She has made the Platte Valley home for over forty years where her and her husband raised their family. She knows the area and enjoys the many things the valley has to offer from the natural beauty to the amazing people.
JoAnn is a member of the Carbon County Board of Realtors® (2009-Current). In her free time, she is active in her church and spending time with family & grandchildren. JoAnn is also a talented quilter and enjoys crafting & painting.

Lauren Trostle
Lauren Trostle kicked off her real estate career obtaining her real estate license in 2021 and joined Town & Country in September, 2021.
She was born in the heart of Amish Country, Pennsylvania and called Elk Mountain, Wyoming home for several years before making Saratoga, WY home sweet home. She loves exploring the beautiful views around every corner of the area. Lauren is a member of the Carbon County Board of Realtors® 2021-Current. In her spare time Lauren is found outdoors every chance she gets. Also specializing in wildlife photography, with a camera in her hand and black lab by her side she loves to go hiking and fly fishing.

Marcy Cooley
Marcy Cooley has been a Sales Associate since 1994 while receiving her Wyoming real estate Brokers license in 2001. She received her GRI (Graduate Realtor® Institute) in 2001. In 2019 Marcy was awarded the National Association of Realtors® Omega Tau Rho. In 2000 and again in 2018 Marcy received the honor as Carbon County Realtor® of the Year by her peers. Also in 2018 Marcy was awarded the Wyoming Association of Realtor® of the Year and highest honor of National Association of Realtor® of the Year.
Marcy has been highly active in the Carbon County Board of Realtors® since 1997 serving on multiple committees and each of the offices a couple terms including President (2000 & 2018), President Elect (1999, 2007-2008, 2017), Secretary (2016) and the Board of Directors (2001-2004, 2007-2008, 2016-Current). She also has served on the state level of the Wyoming Association of Realtors® being on the Executive Committee (2000-2004, 2018), Vice President (2003-2004), Association Operations Chair or Co-Chair (2000-2003) and Southeast District Vice President (2001-2002). Marcy has also contributed to the National Association of Realtors® serving on the Risk Management Committee in 2004.
Away from real estate Marcy has volunteered for the University of Wyoming Cowboy Joe Volunteer Fundraising Committee since 2003. She also loves to spend time with her grandchildren. “With my grandson being the sixth generation of my family to grow up in Carbon County I watched a lot of changes. It is important to me that we grow and prosper but keep our small-town ideals and Our Wyoming Ways so I would be honored to assist you in your real estate needs.”

Kristen Stocks
Kristen Stocks obtained her real estate license in 2020 and joined the Town & Country Realty family in 2023. She makes Dixon, Wyoming her home with her family. Kristen is a member of the Carbon County Board of REALTORS (2020-Current).
Kristen is an owner and project coordinator at Savery Creek Enterprises and Octagon Construction Group. Kristen holds an engineering degree from Louisiana State University and has been coordinating and overseeing a variety of both commercial and residential construction projects since 2005. Kristen enjoys working with clients to determine their goals for any purchase or new home construction project. Her companies’ design build options as well as their river restoration and dirt work divisions allow her to bring a complete package on both residential and land purchase strategies.
Kristen’s Louisiana upbringing has left her with a love of offshore fishing and her Wyoming life has opened the doors to a love of big game hunting. She loves to spend time with her husband and children in the outdoors and she hopes to instill her passions in her children.

Mary Martin
Mary Martin has been the Administrative Assistant since the beginning in 1997. She provides that excellent support that Town & Country is known for. She has been a staff member for real estate offices since the early 1990’s. Mary has lived in Encampment since 1980 and very service oriented where she spends her spare time volunteering with the local Grand Encampment Opera Company directing plays & serving on the Board of Directions since 1991 & President since 2010. She serves on the Board of Directors on the Platte Valley Art’s Council (2015-Current, Secretary 2016-Current). She served sixteen years on the Encampment Town Council from 1998 through 2014 and was imperative as Chairwoman of the Grand Encampment Opera House Committee in the organization & fundraising efforts to renovate the historical building (2008-2011).
Mary is also a life member and served on the Board of Directors of the Grand Encampment Museum (Secretary 2008-2009 & 2000-2003, President 2004-2005). Some other events & organizations that she has given her time include the Encampment All-School Reunion 2010, Wyoming Congressional Youth (2010 & 2005), the Encampment Centennial Committee (1995-1997) and can be seen and heard at a variety of Encampment School events.
Her honors include the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6125 Community Service Award (2008), Sierra Madre Winter Carnival Queen (1999), Xi Beta Delta Woman of the Year (2003), the Grand Encampment Museum Service Award (2005) & the Saratoga/Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce Chamber Pot Award (2006) for outstanding community service and “Doing It Right” honor (2013), one of the Valley Service Organization’s Woman of Distinction (2016) and named one of the “Women of Carbon County” by Rawlins Downtown Development Authority (2019). In 2017, Mary was nominated for the State of Wyoming Women of Influence Lifetime Achievement Award.
